Tool 11 Reflection
Creating my blog was confusing and frustrating at times. It was especially difficult to complete it with 3 kids running around the house. However, I really have wanted to learn how to create a blog. Although I feel great now that I am finished I know that I still need to work on a few of the tools so that I am a proficient blogger. My son is so excited that I have learned to blog because he can't wait to create a blog of his own. I am so excited that I will be able to teach him how to do this. I was surprised that I was able to do this because I am technologically challenged. I will use skype in my classroom and have my students participate in book talks with other students at another SBISD school. I will also have my students create photostories for different subjects and high interest areas. My favorite tool was tool number 7. I love photostory! I liked it the most because it was meaningful to me. I think when learning is meaningful to our students they will make great progress!

Congratulations, BaB! We're bloggers! Did you complete the final step in Atomic Learning? I need to do that after Belle's visit, she's my son's very precious, very needy puppy. Hope you're enjoying summer time with family!
ReplyDeleteHey Judy! You must know how happy I am to be finished. Dylan now wants to create his own blog. I will be helping him start his blog at the end of the week. I hope you and your family are having a great summer. See you soon!
ReplyDeleteDelia, this is so great! I'm glad you're feeling more comfortable with this; it is a bit confusing I must say, but totally fun.
ReplyDeleteThanks, I am feeling more comfortable with it and I am going to use this in the classroom this year. I am excited, I am hoping to practice the photo story with Dylan on his little blog that we are working on to refresh my memory. He went to Channel 11 with my brother and he met David Paul and was allowed to use the controls on the doppler radar. Cool huh! Once I get the blog ready to view I will share it with you.
ReplyDeleteI think you are a proficinet blogger!! It looks great :) If Dylan starts a blog I would LOVE to read it!
ReplyDeleteSee you tomorrow!!
